In 2007, my framing company was thriving, but I was increasingly frustrated by the lack of service and quality from the structural building component manufacturers available in the market. Determined to solve this challenge, I decided to dive into roof and floor truss manufacturing to set a new standard of excellence in the industry.

Our beginnings were humble, but we quickly realized there was only one path to success: hard work and perseverance. In 2012, I partnered with Truss Ops, which helped us achieve impressive growth. In 2017, I had the good fortune to partner with Don Groom and Tony Urban as we separated from Truss Ops to form Trussworks. Don stepped in as CEO, while Tony took on the role of VP of Design & Estimating. Their expertise was the rocket fuel that propelled Trussworks to what it is today—and we’re only just beginning.
